INFORMATION OFFICERS
- Fluent in English and one or more Eastern European Language Russian, Romanian, Polish or Greek preferred

Starting Salary: £22k, plus benefits

Hours: 8.30–17.00 or 9.00–17.30

UK NARIC is the UK’s National Agency responsible for providing information and expert advice on international qualifications and skills.  Do you have what it takes to work in a challenging and busy environment, dealing with international enquiries and helping people hoping to fulfil their academic and occupational ambitions?  If so, we would like to hear from you.

You must be educated to degree level and have fluent verbal and written language skills in English; and another language as stated above.

Experience as a teacher or trainer would be an advantage.

Job Role:

Your main role will be processing enquiries from individual applicants and member organisations, and answering questions on the phone and in writing.  You will also be expected to assist in the training provision and a range of other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

Principally, as a member of UK NARIC Information Services Group:

  • assisting with the international qualifications recognition process;
  • developing knowledge of overseas education and the UK education system;
  • maintaining a professional telephone enquiry service;
  • assisting with the delivery of training; and
  • a range of other administrative tasks

Qualifications
A Bachelor, Postgraduate, or Masters degree from a UK University Other professional qualifications
Skills/Attributes
Fluent verbal and written language skills in English (minimum level acceptable IELTS 6.5)

GRADUATE INFORMATION ADVISER

Organisation: UK NARIC

Location: Cheltenham

Starting Salary: Starting salary £18k - £20k

Hours: 8.30am–5.00pm full time 37.5 hours

UK NARIC is the UK’s National Agency responsible for providing information and expert advice on international qualifications and skills.  Do you have what it takes to work in a challenging and busy environment, dealing with international enquiries and helping people hoping to fulfil their academic and occupational ambitions?  If so, we would like to hear from you as we have vacancies for Information Advisers to join the UK NARIC team.

Job Role:

This is a fast paced, outward facing role in a friendly and dynamic office.  As part of the front desk team, you will provide key administrative support, answer queries received from around the world in writing and over the telephone, and complete initial checks on new applications.

Responsibilities:

Principally, as a member of the Enquiries Service Centre team within the UK NARIC Information Services Group, the successful applicant will be required to:

  • Take and manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls from people and organisations worldwide
  • Respond within service level agreements to written enquiries from people and organisations worldwide
  • Deal with incoming / outgoing post
  • Log enquiries in a records database
  • Ensure payments from customers are logged and sent for processing
  • Process and respond to enquiries within expected timeframes
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Occasional opportunities to represent the company at external events
