UK NARIC, the UK's ReferNet Agency, attended the two-day ReferNet Partnership Forum in Valletta, Malta, in May. 

Participants from 22 countries attended the forum, held at MCAST, the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology.

Hosted by the Maltese Ministry for Education and Employment (ReferNet Malta), the forum focused on knowledge sharing about recent developments in areas such as: national TVET policies and systems; visual methods of presenting information on VET policies; and the concept of long-term international mobility in apprenticeships.

A parallel ReferNet Partnership Forum was held in Bergen, Norway, and was hosted by DIKU – the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education (ReferNet Norway).

ReferNet is a Europe-wide network of institutions representing the 28 Member States, Iceland and Norway. ReferNet was created in 2002 by Cedefop, which supports the development of European vocational education and training (VET) policies and contribute to their implementation.
