Welcome to ReferNet

The European network of reference and expertise in Vocational Education and Training (VET).

ReferNet offers comparable information on VET across Europe. It was established by the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop).

The network provides a decentralised information exchange, based on national consortia in participating countries, made up of VET stakeholders.

ECCTIS Ltd is the coordinator of UK ReferNet from January 2012. This UK network is jointly funded by Cedefop and the UK Department for Education.

Network activities are focused on documentation and information exchange on developments in VET policy and research across the European Union.

We act as a VET portal between the UK and other countries, and answer requests for information.

Cedefop is the European Union's reference centre for vocational education and training. It provides information on and analysis of vocational education and training systems, policies, research and practice. Cedefop was established in 1975 by Council Regulation (EEC) No 337/75. READ MORE
