Regulated professions
This page outlines the regulated professions in the UK; these are legally recognised
occupations that involves specialist application of knowledge.
A regulated profession is one where access to or practice of a profession is restricted
by national law to those holding specific qualifications. Each Member State determines
its own national system of education and training, and identifies its own Regulated
Profession and the specific pathways to pursuing the Regulated Professions.
If your profession is not on this list, there may be a protected title for your
profession that you might be interested in applying for. These titles are regulated
under UK law and the competent authorities accept applications for recognition from
EU qualified professionals. Please check the
list of protected
titles.

the Certificate of Experience will assist the individual in obtaining work in a
regulated craft or trade another Member State without the need of further training
or experience.
