Report: Guidelines for Training of Credential Evaluators in Lithuania (GTCE)

In preparation for reform in Lithuania that would see responsibility for academic recognition decisions transferred to higher education institutions, this project sought to:

  • create Guidelines for Training of Credential Evaluators that could be used as a methodological tool for consistent and systematic training of admissions officers and other staff involved in evaluating international qualifications both within Lithuanian HEIs and the NARIC
  • to promote practice and activities in accordance with the Lisbon Recognition Convention
  • to contribute to the development of a common culture of training for credential evaluators in Europe.
